How to Fix a Corrupt File because of Stuck Rebuilding on IDM

IDM or Internet Download Manager is an application to download a file to maximize download speed on the internet. This application is really useful for downloading large files because we can delay downloading for a while and download it again when we are online.

However, there are some things that we often experience when downloading files with a very large size, such as the risk of files being corrupted because of the delay we have or because of being stuck during the rebuilding process which takes a long time or even never runs again.

To fix the problem of corrupt files, here I will share How to Fix a Corrupt File because of Stuck Rebuilding on IDM.

1. Open the IDM application, then navigate to the "Options" menu

2. On the "Save to" tab open the Temporary directory, because here I save the temporary in D then I open the D folder that matches the one displayed on IDM

3. After that, open the DwnlData/User/ after that open one folder that has a very large file

4. If you have found it, please open the file using Winrar or an application to extract the file.

5. If no error appears when opened, there is a possibility that the file is not corrupted, but if an error occurs it means the file is corrupted when downloading.

6. Then extract the file to the directory you want.

7. Open the file that you extracted and run it, if there are no problems it means it has been successful, but if it is corrupted it can be ascertained during the download process.
